This post was posted on my temporary blog site, as my blog went down during the last two months. Some information could have been changed after its publication. Now the new website is online ( built with Django ), and that temporary blog will be offline in approximately two weeks.

Several weeks ago my former VPS provider stopped nearly all services for its users, without any proper notification. In the meanwhile, I was home for my winter vacation and could not do anything about it, as I had no Internet connection. And after trying to contact customer service, I thought it might be a good time to start blog again.

So I’ve set up this blog site (using Ghost blogging platform) on OpenShift (which is a cloud service procided by RedHat). I’ve been thinking of developing my own blogging system using Django, but I gave it up finally, cause I don’t really need to do so.

The old blog site (My Nook) is currently offline, as I’m still trying to figure out what happend to my former VPS provider, as well as to find the latest data backup for that site.

An image site of the old blog might come online some time later, maybe at the end of this month. I really don’t have the patience to manually change the data format from Typecho to Ghost.

By the way, personally I hate the action of terminating service without notification.
